I took a 330 mile day trip to Lake Michigan today. I also went to New Buffalo, Michigan for lunch as I'd never been in Michigan. Perfect weather. Not too

crowded at the beach and on the road. The climb up the dune to take pictures about killed me and I'm in pretty good shape! The restaurant had a neat

license plate montage.

Great pics. Looks like a nice scenic ride. I just did my first 'distance' ride and was really happy with how my bike performed (although I'm considering getting a 650 for a little more 'umph' on the mountain passes around here).

We don't have much for hills in central Illinois, let alone mountains! Someday I plan to visit Washington state, Canada, and Alaska. You must have some

awesome roads out there. I used to have a Yamaha Radian 600. It had real nice pick-up and sometimes I do miss that.
