Hello all from California. I've been doing my research for a while and it looks like the gz250 is going to be my pick for first motorcycle. I've been interested in motorcycles for most of my life, my dad was in a biker club a long time ago and I grew up around the club and riding on the back of my dads Honda Gold wing which is what he rode mostly from since I was born, he had custom choppers and harley's in the past but didn't really discriminate, he loved all types of motorcycles and I pretty much feel the same way, doesn't matter what you ride to me as long as it's two wheels. So anyways I finished MSF course, and got my full license and looking to pick up a GZ250 (which has now been lowered to $2999 new) at my local suzuki dealership. I'll try to get a pic up when I get it. :) Anyways I'm done rambling for now (hey I just thought I'd give you something to read!) I'm going to resume lurking now :hide:

Hi Cody, this forum is a great place for Newbies. I read it daily, and always learn something new. I hope you have as much fun on your GZ250 as I'm having on mine! It's a great bike. Be safe!

Welcome to the Forum.
You're lucky to be in California.
One of the few places where you can
actually get a GZ250 for $2999. Even though
the Suzuki website lists that not every where in
the country can you actually find it for that locally.

Thanks for the kind welcome. I just hope that I can get financed, my credit history isn't so good, as in almost non existent and I tried to get approved for something else before, didn't go through, but this time I have a little over half the price of the bike to put down. So worst case scenario it doesn't work out and I get one used instead, either way by next month I'm GOING to have a gz250 in my hand haha.
