did i set my float wrong?

i now after messing with my carb have a fuel leak. does this carb have anywhere to leak off excess like other carbs i have worked on if you mess up float hieght? i set just like th manual stats 13mm just touching the needle valve as in not resting on it but just touching. it appears to be leaking from the float bowl gasket but i am puzzled as i see no vent tube on this carb.thoughts?

Check 4-4 in the manual.There is a over flow & a vent tube.

i went to 4-4 and it says to remove the vent tube. only tube i have in that area of the carb is the one for when you drain the bowl. i have no other tubes down there. can anyone help here? pics?
