Hi everyone. I just picked up a 2002 gz and am thinking about changing paint color. Anyone know what kind of paint the factory uses? I am planning on using urethane, but if the factory paint is lacquer then that ain't going to work!
Anyone know?

Welcome.They use enamel.They stopped using lacquer.I'm pretty sure they use a two stage base coat,clear coat system. :)

Thanks for the info!! Sounds like i can use a 2 stage urethane over it after prep!! Thanks again!
