A friend of mine just picked up a demo 2009 Gold Wing. 400 kms on it. Such a sweet sounding bike with those 6 cylinders just purring along. Top of the line with the GPS, airbag and other assorted goodies.

I've been secretly lusting after a Gold Wing for a while now. I've talked to a few 'Wing riders and it seems like a cush ride - especially if you go two-up.

Must be Gold Wing week here. Another friend just picked up a 1984 Wing with 48,000 kms on it. He says everything works well and it rides better than his Moto Guzzi Norge. Can't wait to see it. I will post some pics after he brings in home.

Got to see the bike today. Actually has 48,000 "miles" not kms. A real sweet ride. Sat on it and it is really a good fit. Fairly quiet Jardine pipes and a few extra goodies.

He is riding from the West Coast to Quebec and the Maritimes in 3 or 4 weeks for a visit to family and friends. If all goes well with the Wing his Norge will up for sale. The Wing will be a lot cheaper to own and operate.
