Hey everyone..

I'm sort of new to the bike world, finally decided to get out of the cage and on to two wheels..
Of course, this is my first bike and glad to be apart of the forum..

Anyway, my names Brien, I live in Little Rock, Arkansas (at the moment) with my lovely fiancee. I'm 26yrs old and have a beautiful 5yr old little girl.
lived all over the united states, traveled a lot with bands and friends over the years. you might see me at a WSP show..
My dad will also be back on a bike very shortly, being a life long rider has been a big inspiration to me to shed the two extra wheels.

At the moment i have an '06 GZ250, black with saddlebags.. all stock for the time being.

Look forward to meeting some of you cats and what not and whatever else there is to know..you know how to find out.. peace.

hit me up if you ride through..

Welcome to the forum from South Carolina. My advice to you, especially with a wife and a daughter, is take the MSF BRC (Motorcycle Safety Foundation Basic Rider Course). It will help prevent bad habits and get you started on the right foot. On another note I played in a band for 16 years in my "yoot". Tough business. Ride safe my friend.

Get the "M/C Enterprises" branded crash bars/engine guards. You don't want stock ones.

Have fun with your new toy. Take it slow for the first six months/3000 miles. Takes about that long to get the hang of it. If you like to read, get Proficient Motorcycling by Hough. Don't try to keep up with your dad in the twisties until you've been at it for a year. Make sure you know which direction is fuel and which direction is reserve. Remember to shut off the blinker. Don't burn yourself or let your five year old near the shiny pipes. If you get a helmet, make sure it fits good.

That's all I got.
