Not much to introduce really. I sling code for my real job and turn wrenches for fun, or at least try to, sometimes a stuck bolt is going to put you in a sour mood regardless. Last motorcycle I had was nearly a decade ago and it was a KZ440. I spend a fair amount of time playing with cars though.

Anyway, I've been lurking here for a while since I picked up my little 250 and decided it might be a good time to introduce myself.

Welcome to the forum from South Carolina. You going to the Myrtle Beach Rally? I have one recommendation for you since it's been 10 years since you rode. That is to take the MSF BRC (Motorcycle Safety Foundation Basic Rider Course). It will help you avoid bad habits and/or break those you have. Ride safe my friend.

Thank you all for the welcome.

I will definitely be taking the MSF course along with my wife as she thought she might like to give riding a try. As soon as we get her schedule sorted out we'll be able to contact Midlands Tech and register. I won't be at the Myrtle Beach rally this year though next year we should be able to work it into our schedule.

Curious about what made you decide to take the plunge and become un-anonymous... Welcome to the way we waste time when we're not wasting gas...

Seemed a better time waster than lurking is all. That and likely I'll come up with questions once I begin tinkering with the bike. Would be rude to just start asking point blank (grin).
