Bike jack

Canadian Tire has their bike jacks on sale for half price again. Got a rain check for mine. It will come in handy with Lynda's bike.

Yippee I got the jack. Now where do I store it till needed ? Not a bad looking item so far. I got it all together without breaking anything and it seems to work well with no load. Sure glad it has wheels because hauling in the box was a challenge for an old guy. About a $1 a pound before tax.

I bought one of these jacks last year when they were on sale.A great working jack,with good lifting capacity.I like the way it locks,so there is no strain on the hydraulics.I leave the handle off,so I can store it under a bench,out of the way.

I wish I had a bench to store it under. I think I can squeeze it in my storage locker if a lot of other stuff gets devalued and tossed out. The joys of apartment living.

Ha........I can beat you there :neener: When we bought our apartment, we bought parking space & a small workshop in the underground parking. The workshop backs onto the downramp (at a lower level) so I cut a doorway into the back of the workshop, into the area under the downramp. Concreted the floor, plastered the walls, wired it for lights & power.....Now the storeroom (that I didn't have to buy!) is bigger than my workshop. :tongue: :)

My work shop is nothing than a 7 by 7 storage area with a bench along one side.Pretty tight quarters with the bike inside.Doesn't leave much room to do any work,but it's warm and dry.
