Have you given any thought to the life of the fork seals after the front end black out job ?? I have a feeling you will regret it.

I didn't notice that you painted the top tubes.I have to agree with W.W.I have painted only the bottom tubes in the past,as the paint will not stick to the chrome uppers.

Regarding the fork seals: I marked and taped about 2 inches from the bottom to avoid damage to the seals. If you prep chrome for paint, paint will stick. I used a black enamel not typical plastic based paint.

You have a nice bike man and have given me some inspiration but can you answer these few questions.
1.) How did you paint the rims and prepped them?
2.) How did you paint the engine and prepped it? Any advice, I'm picking up a brand new gz250 tomorrow and hate the stock look!

Thanks. I prepped the plastics with medium grit sandpaper , degreaser on the engine.
