Honda Shadow Spirit

Hey Dupo,
This past weekend I had a chanch to purchase a 2003 Honda Shadow Spirit, 750 cc, with less than 9,000 miles and it was cherry (no blemishes, run smoothly). The guy wanted $3000 for it, it had saddle bags, sissy bar, and windshield; I am not familiar with the Honda line; would this have been a good deal? Should I have overridden the wife's objections to another bike :-)

That was a good deal. Bike like that books about 4 grand plus some (mine books for $4300) ... plus it had almost $500 in accessories. Go get it and deal with the wife later :) lol. You won't find much better than the Honda Shadow line .. great dependability and customization.

$3000 for the bike, figure $100 for registration and insurance, $150 for a divorce... on the road for $3250!
