Hi everyone,
My name is Darren and i like in southern china, i ordered a japanese built GZ150 today and expect delivery in about 14 days.
What i would like to know is can i replace the head, barrel and piston with same off a GZ 250 ?
Also can you recommend a supplier of accessories that will fit my bike, UK or USA no problem.
Thanks i advance.

GZ 150?
never heard of one
Thought they only made 125's and 250's
If you stick up a few pictures of the parts you want to replace i'd say a few of the more experienced members might be able to give you an answer

cheers,
The province i live in has a max engine size restriction of 150cc.
although the police bikes are 250cc.
I have a BMW 750 i bought in Beijing, but it is forbidden in Zhongshan where i live and the police keep stopping me and sooner or later they will confiscate it.
I went to bike shop today and ordered the GZ150, i will take some pics when it arrives.

Probably not.
Other things are likely different too: cams, valves, crank throw, etc.
It would probably be easier to smuggle in a whole 250 and "debadge" it.
An ENTIRE 250 engine/transmission might fit.......but that would be a lot of money for not much gain.

Just my opinion here but I would be wanting to cooperate with the law rather than hiding something and getting caught later on and losing it. Ride the 150, you may find it to a perfect ride for local roads and traffic.

Especially in a place like China, where I've heard that you can get into a world of hurt if the local LEOs decide they don't like you.......laws or no laws.
