I need new rubber bushings for my shocks, I have one thats partially intact, the other ones completely gone, so it was metal on metal. Cant find them on BikeBandit or CheapCycleParts, I really dont want to spend 300 bucks for new shocks, I think I can carve new bushings, but thats a pain, so any help would be pretty awesome, thanks.

The rubbers out of a set of auto shocks should be able to be fitted.I would be inclined to take a walk around a scrap yard.

Good idea, but what kind of condition will rubber bushings be out of a junk yard?

The bushings normally don't wear much in a car.Mostly the shock is worn out and the bushings are still good.I have been around older vehicle all my life and have only seen a couple of vehicles with worn out bushings.Worn shock bushings are usually a result of loose mounts, letting the shock move up and down.

Well, you won't know if you don't look......!! :)
Everything in a "junk yard" is not junk.

Might want to check with a bike shop or three; they might have some old shocks laying around......or might have saved some bushings for just this reason.

I tried to look up the shock/spring in an online fische.......but couldn't find either. Odd.

Good Luck.
