Hello,

Just bought a 2007 GZ250. Took the MSF course in July and have ridden my husband's Honda Rebel since then. Didn't like leaving him standing in the driveway while I rode, so it was time to get my own. I considered the Rebel but the GZ (hereafter called "Icer") just felt better. This evening we rode our bikes and I put 25 miles on Icer. Rode in 5:00 traffic on the main streets of town and had a great time. Icer doesn't sound as good as the Rebel but I do like the way the bike handles on the road. Also the bike seems very forgiving of newbie mistakes. Would enjoy hearing from any other owners in the Hamilton, Ohio area.

It's tradition to post a picture of icer even though the profile of the GZ hasn't changed since dinosaurs roamed the earth.

Glad you are having fun. There's a bunch of guys on here that can give you some pointers on bulking up your pipe sound if you go for that sort of thing...

Thanks for the comments. Will post a picture of Icer as soon as I can (too busy riding today). Icer was named for the blue line in my other love-ice hockey.

Alantf, you need a Vstrom. They look better dirty and have no chrome.

I'm from hamilton as well, the weather here has been terrible for riding. For whatever reason we have gotten more snowfall this year than years past it seems.
