Hi everyone. I am a new rider with my very first bike that I got yesterday. A beautiful 2004 GZ250 with only 9380 kms on it
Wanted to thank the creaters of this site, since I just started browsing and have already found the service manual. This place is packed with some great information. Thank you all.

Welcome bkrchic. You are in for a lot of fun and a steep learning curve with 2 wheels attached. Nice looking bike by the way. Is it safe to assume you had some riding lessons from a professional instructor ? Oh ya, we pick on newbies for a while so don't be scared off. It is all in fun and keeps the old geezers entertained.

Yes, I took a motorcylce course prior to obtaining my license. There just didn't seem any point to trying to get it without some formal instruction. My motorcycle history was of a passenger.
I am hoping to get full riding enjoyment for this month before having to garage the bike for the winter.

Ah yes, winter in the GWN. One of the reasons I moved to B.C. 5 years ago. A long riding season and a better view. A pic of my back yard.

Welcome to the forum!
Yes, I remember Ontario well. Lived in Kitchener for 7 years before moving back to the Wet Coast. Commuted (in my cage) to Stratford every day. Now, THAT'S a snowbelt! I'm insured into next month but there's a good chance I'll extend it into November. It's rare that the snow sticks to the ground here but I'm not a big fan of riding in the rain...
