I love those pumps! Takes me back to my childhood.
I think the last time I actually bought gas from a pump like that was in Santo Thomas, Mexico, back in the 60's.

There supposedly is a station with the gravity pumps in Kings Canyon Nat'l Forest at privately owned Kings Canyon Lodge. I didn't check it out 'cause I heard (also) that you had to buy $27.00 worth or something like that at a minimum (and the price is apparently boondocksy...) Seeing as it'd have to be about nine bucks a gallon before I could fit 27 dollars worth in the Strat I got mine at the Hume Christian Camp instead. Thank the Lord they sell gas or I'd a been coasting down 180 to Fresno. There is no other gas in the park.

I hear there are a lot of good time rides in California. Someday I will make it out there. Not much here in Ohio. Pretty flat and strait.

Funny, the guys in Chicago say the best riding around here is in Ohio... :)
