My name is Forrest, I'm 20 years old out of Iowa City, IA. Taking classes here at the University. Got my 2003 GZ just this April and try and ride it every day I can. You probably have seen a few threads I've started here, and I thought perhaps I would make a more formal introduction. Love this site since it's such a wealth of knowledge; I really appreciate it. Take care and ride safe!

Ha! I will have the same courtesy there. It's a good school...although you and I will no doubt have differing opinions about the football program...
And yes, the Forrest Gump references are half my life, so I am VERY used to it by now :2tup:

Not being American, I thought that the name, Forrest, had been made up for the movie. It's a cultural shock to find that it's a real name. (we tend to be a bit more conservative in England - Bill, George etc :) ) :2tup: :2tup:

But Alan, the origin of "Forrest" as a name is British. Much like Bevis, Garfield, and Grover.
Topping the American name list are the likes of; Sean, Hunter, and Juan :)
