At that gearing site, just select the bike (Suzuki - GZ - 2003 GZ 250), and then... :techy: click "load gearing" :2tup:

That will fill the tables with the data that pbro entered, and you can vary the data (for instance, sprockets) and look at the results.

Those 10,000 rpm... are indeed unattainable :cry: Our engines redline at 9,000, AFAIK.

Can you get an 18-tooth front sprocket? Never heard of anyone having more than 16 - would the bike just have no torque left what so ever?

Bike would have absolutely no power.Just barely has enough with 16t sprocket.

I highly doubt there is enough room under the front sprocket cover to house a 18 tooth sprocket with the chain wrapped around it.

Only at the top end.You loose maybe 5 mph off the top end.Every were else it is better than stock. :tup: :roll:
