Hi, I'm Ed, The Qwadfather, from Las Cruces, NM, USA. Picked up an '05 for my wife Sunday and started browsing stuff for it, and, well, here I am. Look forward to visiting. Ride safe all! Ed

Welcome. Our global headquarters is sited in LC. Haven't done a lot of local travel there, but it appeared to be an excellent place for two-lane, low-traffic riding. I've done the LC to El Paso run quite a few times, but in a rental car, not a two wheeler. If the opportunity arises, I might recreate an earlier RV run from Anaheim to LC, but this time on my Yamaha.

Yay Ed welcome to the forum, I have a gut feeling that you will be doing the maintenance on that little beauty, so we'll see you around ! :2tup:

Welcome Ed. I'm sure she will like the GZ. We love ours. You're at the right place for any kind of help you would need, should you be the one who does the maintenance on it. GZ Brian

Welcome Ed,
I went to high school in El Paso and made the run to Las Cruces quite frequently. Usually on the two-lane that parallels I-10.
I know you'll enjoy the GZ250. Have fun and ride safe.

Thanks for the warm welcome all. I guess I'll be the one messin' withe little machine. We are Lucky 7 Racing from the mini qwad race scene and anyone that ever knew us knows that I can never leave well enough alone, LOL! Anyone who's interested in the LC/El Paso area, riding or otherwise, I'd be happy to put together little orientation for you. Just holler and leave voice or text. Or e-mail. Ride safe! Ed.

Welcome to the forum qwadfather! Always great to have another fellow rider. You're definitely in the right place for all things GZ. There are some awesome "how to's" and don't forget to check out the owner's manual and service manual they have posted - sounds like you will be needing them!
