Although I feel slightly insecure this week with my little 250 import riding amongst all of the HD's on their way to Bike Week... (granted there really aren't that many on their way this year)

Red tennies, pink jacket, decorated helmet........how CUTE is that !!
Not terribly safe, mind you but really cute.
I always feel "insecure" around big groups of bikes.......because there is bound to be more than a few idiots in the crowd.

Great picture of the two of you! (You and the GZ) You will build confidence over time, maybe I'm a slow learner but I didn't feel really confident of my bike riding skills until I had about 6,000 miles under my belt. I still need to work on my skills as most of us, find it is a continuos learning type thing. Great seeing you as a member and hope you stick with us, as you know, great people and lots of informative on the site. You look great on your new toy, keep it slow for a bit. I'm a firm believer over confidence can get you in trouble. Again thanks for sharing your picture!

Thanks! Hey I'm not cute, I'm a badass in pink :D
I'm trying not to get overconfident. Riding has come naturally to me but I also know I have much to learn!

If you are bad ass in pink, you should wipe that smile off your face! (Just kidding) Pink definitely is your color! I have much to learn too, especially the crazies in cars! Run into one almost every outing, they are blind most of them!

Don't let the Harley riders scare you haha, at least you got something to ride, don't matter what brand it is as long as you like it. we are still having semi lousy weather here, a bit chilly most days and a lot of wind and thunder storms. i get in a ride when i can and hope i don't blow off the road lol.
tought in pink huh, i once saw a bright pink shirt that said real men wear pink, the guy wearing it did not look all that though hahahah...

We've had a lot of bikes down here by Longs/Little River/North Myrtle Beach. Not as many as years past (as you said) but quite a few. I love looking at them. I'm going to the Mayfest in N. Myrtle Beach (Main St) today to watch Eddie Money....I'll look for the the pink jacket.

I did Daytona Bike week this year on my GZ250. I rode with a few friends one riding a redneck chopper and another on a Sportster 883....needless to say the chopper blew me off the rode lol but I had a blast. As far a being insecure...don't be at least you have the nerve to ride and enjoy it unlike alot of people.

Hey when the Harley rider's bikes break down on the side of the highway jut tell them you're going to ride up to the next exit for a bite to eat and to meet you there when they get them running haha

Hey when the Harley rider's bikes break down on the side of the highway ....
What goes around, comes around. :skull:
If it is one bike alone, I almost always ask if they need help.
If the rider looks mean and nasty, I just keep on going.
I try to NEVER dis another riders bike......but I have commented on loud pipes a few times.

I saw a Harley broke down on the side of the road once when I still had the GZ, I stopped, got off my bike and hollered at him to ask if he needed any help, he looked at me like I was crazy for even daring to ask, so I got back on my little GZ (with a pouch full of tools, HaHa) and left.
I don't know about you, but if I am broke down on the side of the road, I really don't give a shit what the person who stops and offers to help is driving/riding. And even if I don't need help I damn sure ain't gonna be rude, what happens when I break down again a week later and do need help and see that same person, he/she damn sure ain't gonna stop and help me. There are too few people willing to help their fellow man out there now, without running the few that are left off.
