Just a heads up:

IF...if you are in the area of the magneto at all, make sure to check the magneto screws. I had one come loose and jam, fortunately while I was stopped. As a precaution, I would even remove it, clean the threads, and re-loctite it to specs.

I still find it interesting, and a little disturbing, that Suzuki insists on calling that assembly a "magneto" when the common english term is "alternator".

Yes, very strange. A magneto produces direct current, whilst an alternator produces alternating current, which has to be changed to direct current by a rectifier.
