This was my first bike. Was dropped only once the 2nd week I bought in 2006 on a very small slow turn. Has small left front 1 inch scuff mark on front spolier, one left 1/2inch scuff mark on headlight lamp housing. Small left tear on clutch rubber snap cover Selling because im moving to something bigger.

I have over 15K on my bike, about 3,000 miles on the interstate.

It is not the best interstate bike, but it will do.

Good luck on the sale.

Sal,

I have an '08. Tried to sell it last year for $2100. No offers. Didn't want to go any lower so I just kept it. had about 3K on it. Never been dropped. Windshield and bags. Runs real good. I started out at $2600 and lowered the price every time the Craigs list expired. It's a pretty good bike for around town, but I live about 2 miles up a hill and it's not great in the hills.

I got mine through the other end of your dilemma. My older boy bought the GZ to get around on. After a year he moved up to a Magna and tried to sell the GZ. 6 months later, when he came home for Christmas he tosses the key to me says that if he can't get what he wants for it he would rather I have it to get back into motorcycles. Good kid. Only problem is now I want something bigger again to and have the wife learn to ride the GZ.

It is an excellent "Hand-me-down" first bike. My oldest daughter has expressed some interest, but I'd rather she finish college (and maybe purchase health insurance) before risking life and limb.
