Here is two pictures of my sons GZ250. I am thinking of studding the seat like I did the backrest so I did a little paintbrushing to see what it might look like. What do you-all think, will it look good with the studding?

I don't really go for the studs and tassles and so on. Looks too S&M (Mr. Leather) to me. But it certainly is popular on the Harleys around here. I'd also be concerned about scratching or catching things in them.

But from a purely artistic standpoint, the doctored picture looks fine. You could get some studded bags for the complete look.

Me neither, usually.
In this case, I think it looks OK on the front seat.....but on the passenger seat, not so good.

It's your bike. If you think the look is what you are going for, then go for it. I kinda like it - which doesn't mean I'm into S&M though (sorry, Alan).

...it also doesn't mean I'm not.

To each his own. My Chicago home, The Palmer House Hilton, has been the host of the International Men of Leather contest on and off for many years, three of which happened to be held during weeks I was in residence. It was a shame it wasn't International Women of Leather, but it was an otherworldly experience nonetheless. (I DID stay at a place in San Antonio once that was hosting the National Cheerleading Competition, but, that, as they say, is a different story. A really delightful, if somewhat pervy and creepy story.)

Picture about 8000 guys wearing all manner of leather, vinyl, etc. including ass-less chaps and more, bears and twinks, young and (really, really) old and you start to get the picture. They are everywhere you go and in the mood to party! I had to take the office ladies to lunch every day so they could check out the action (most, but not all, of which was not interested in office ladies.)

Here's a link Patrick, if you want to explore your tanned hide side...

That is why I was asking because they just didn't say hello to me on this bike. I am getting it setup to sell and I want it to look good. Did you notice the HD Sporters cash bars up front?

Bike looks very salable to me as is. Given the current market (sort of crappy here in CA) I wouldn't put a lot of extra time and money into it as you are likely going to have to sell it fairly cheaply.

To each his own, but I perfer the stock look. I'd rather spend money on moding the seat for more comfort on the longer rides. That could be a positive point for re sale later. CMS :2tup:
