Or maybe spring or fall..........
VERY preliminary plan to have a meet at Giant City State Park near Carbondale, Illinois sometime in the normal riding season of 2010.

Organization is likely to be loose and will be headed up by someone on the Shadow riders forum.

If anyone here is interested, I'll keep you posted as more develops later.

(Gotta have something to look forward to while waiting for all this white crap to melt!)

Just when I though I'd seen it all............
Just came from the Shadow forum and somebody who is not even a member (guest) seems to have taken control of making the arrangements. Very strange. This could be interesting.

Been watching the news, & it seems that you're lucky in America. In England, for the past week, it's been snowing continuously & temperatures have been down to minus 23. Colder than Siberia. We've got friends going back tomorrow, & while the aircraft can probably land at Manchester airport, they've got to drive over the Pennines (a pass through the Pennine mountains) to get home. Problem is, he drove to the airport in his Jaguar, & it's rear wheel drive, & even with the "traction control" set, it's not good in the snow.

It's ON.
Giant City State Park, near Carbondale, IL.
Looks like a really SMALL group; maybe 6 or less.

After that, I will be headed south for a 2 week road trip.
Details in another post.
