Saturday morn we are outta here for a week. Really need to do more than a day ride so we will be travelling a bit south and north of the border. Southern B.C. and Northern Washington here we come.

Have fun, be safe, and we expect a lot of pictures when you return and check back in.

Had a nice 6 day ride. But right now I am more than annoyed. I do not post pics and went to all the trouble and pleasure of a written ride report giving a full description of our trip. Hit enter and it went to Never Never Land. That won't happen again.

Hit enter and it went to Never Never Land.

Sometimes does the same thing to me. I've found that it usually happens when someone else is posting at the same time. Can anything be done to cure this, dupo? It always seems to happen when I've spent ages doing a long write up, or posting pictures.

Does that mean you've figured it out and will send it again, or that you're so annoyed that you're not going to even to bother typing it up again to resend? That's OK, just deprive the rest of us.

Anyway, glad you two made it back safely and had a good time.

This has happened before and was thought to be operator error. Apparently, there is a little gremlin waiting for me to type a whole bunch and then shoot me down. Dang it, maybe I need a Gremlin Bell on the keyboard.

For long postings, some times I use a word processing program, like Microsoft Word, then cut and paste on to the forum. I too have had them Gremlin attack twice. (Beat me both times, it's 2-0)
Good Luck!

I've found it safer, if I have a long post or letter to write, to type it in WORD first, then save it in word and just copy and paste it onto the e-mail or web site I want to post it on. Sorry you had this happen, I think we've all experienced this a few times. Glad you had a nice trip, looking forward to a ride report when you feel a little less frustrated with the computer.

Brilliant minds think alike, see my post above! (One minute before your post!) Great post of yours!

I now have a simple plan for my simple abilities. Cutting and pasting etc sounds good but the glue makes me high. Later folks.

Cutting and pasting is fun and you can even use crayons, but it's tough to get the crayons off your monitor so I usually don't.

Just don't eat the glue. Even if it smells good. Looking forward to whatever method you use to get your report posted & glad you're home safe!!!

ps. Funny how the little things can make one lose perspective. 6 days on a motorcycle , home safe and a fricking computer can drive you up a wall. I feel your pain. ;)

Computers !!! Bah ! Humbug !! Can't live with one and have no idea how to live without one now. If it wasn't for motorcycle forums I probably would not own a computer.
