Can this be used on this bike (for "fuel additive" or "carb cleaner")??
I'm sure it's posted in here, but couldn't find anything right away.

Yes. The question is why?
If it's just for routine, preventative maintenance, then sure.
If you are actually having carb. trouble, other things are probably better.
I like Berryman's B12 Chemtool; available at WalMart and all fine auto parts stores.
I'll be in your fair city next Sunday for the races.
You going ??

Was going to use (the STP) to see if I could clear up some of the "chugginess" I'm hearing. I may be having "carb trouble", but was going to see if the fuel additive will help out first.
If the STP doesn't work, I'll give the Berryman's a try.
Won't be going to the races as I'll be out of town. Sorry I missed you last week Easy Rider at the ARCA race. My daughter ended up deciding she didn't want to go to the race, so we did other things instead.
Thanks for the input.

STP (Specially Treated Petroleum) is a well known, reputable, brand in England. I used to use that brand all the time. I'm not saying that there aren't any better products (I am obviously not acquainted with American products), just that STP is a good brand. :2tup:

I added about 3 (of the 12 in the bottle) ounces to my tank, went and filled it up, and took her for a ride.
It sounded a lot better than it did before I added it. So hopefully, that will continue.
Now she needs a wash!!!

Run it regularly for several tanks, just to be sure and don't change anything else in the meantime.
Carbs have a funny way of feeling fixed one day and then going right back to they're same old "chuginess" the next day based on simple things like air temperature or pressure.
If you're problem seems to have cleared up, consistently, after a few weeks, then good for you. I would keep using a little bit of carb cleaner in every couple of tanks, just for maintenance's sake.
