I bought a used 2003 GZ250 last year in incredible shape and have since put a nice 1000 miles on it. I don't know too many people in the area who ride motorcycles, and am having trouble finding a good shop to get my inspection done. How do you find a shop for small repairs (not that i need any now, but maybe in the future) and general routine checkups/maintenance? I'm in the Pittsburgh Area if there are any locals around with a shop to recommend.
Thanks!

I find the Yellow Pages quite helpful.....since I'm an old fart.
Some of the younger folks here can probably recommend an Internet equivalent.
Look under Motorcycles and/or Suzuki.
I'm sure there are some "biker bars" around your area but that might get a little messy.......seeing as how you don't ride a HOG and all !!

Easy Rider, i haven't seen a Yellow Pages in 5 years at least! I've done some searching using the internet google machine, but most things just come up as car repair shops when i search for "Motorcycle Inspection" or even "Motorcycle Repair". we've had a few cycle shops close down here recently.
I guess in the end i'll just end up taking whatever results i can find online and calling around, unless a local Pittsburgher shows up eventually and recommends a shop.
thanks for the input though!

I'm betting that the yellowpages is available online.
Also, try Suzuki.com for a dealer listing.

Check out any Pittsburgh area internet motorcycle forums as well. Even the tuner/sportbike forums. They usually all have some references or reviews of shops in them. Considering the performance aspect of the crowd, they usually don't take a lot of jack from shops.
Here's two that might be helpful.

good call Patrick. I didn't even think to look for local pittsburgh forums. looks like both of those links are long dead, but it gives me another place to look. thanks for the help!

this question should be under GENERAL or ? :)
as Easy said use the Suzuki.com for dealer locations and calling someone can give your more information.
