Again, welcome.
What's the other bike? I can't seem to recognize it. At first I thought it was a Kawi Vulcan, but then thought again, & I still can't place it.

Thanks for the welcome!
The other bike belongs to a good friend. Its a limited edition 80's Honda Rebel. It came with a gold trim package, a fancy tank and some other limited stuff. He practically stole it. An elderly neighbor had it up and running for all of 500 miles then parked it in his downstairs living room. Sat ever since. He was offered the bike for 400 bucks and just had to get it running. Took it to a local mechanic and after a carb rebuild and a tank cleaning it was good to go.

Awesome!! Another bay resident! I reside in the east bay area. Know of any local GZ'ers that might want to meet for a cruise some time? Any clubs that wont discriminate against our little GZ's?

Welcome to the forum. Enjoy your bike. There's lots of clubs that don't care what size your engine is. If you are a new rider, though, I recommend starting small (like with two or three) before setting out with a big group ride. It's safer and will also give you a chance to see if you really like riding with a bunch of other people.

I only wish I knew some others in my area to get out and enjoy! I bike around Skyline Blvd. area. (Highway 35, one of the best, if not the best biking route in the bay area)
Live in the Palo Alto, Area.

Not a new rider, just new to small displacement! I got the GZ during the height of the gas crunch in the bay area to see if i could tolerate a 250 to help with insurance costs and keeping money in the pocket, and low and behold the little thing has grown on me. It just lacked in in a few areas, mainly aesthetics, which i plan to change.
As the old saying goes . ." One of the coldest winters ive ever experienced was a summer in San Fransisco."
New GZ250, Ive heard of 35 but have yet to make it out to that area of the peninsula with the GZ or a car for that matter. Maybe we could organize a meet'n ride for GZ's in the near future!

Hi and welcome!
You now will have more friends than you ever thought possible. That Honda is a 450 right?

Nope, the Honda is a classic 80's LE Rebel 250
