New GZ250

In various materials/internet I have seen the GZ referred to as a Cruiser, Street Bike or a Standard? My guess is it is a Street Bike with Cruiser styling. I am a bit confused as I believe there is really no correct answer. Any ideas what we are really riding?

The GZ has a fair bit of cruiser styling but is called a standard and cruiser both depending where you look or listen. The new TU250 is definitely a standard with the foot controls further to the rear and under the rider. Also a more upright sitting position than the GZ. Doesn't really matter what they are called in the long run as long as they fit.

Suzuki's official website here calls the GZ a standard. In many 3rd world countries they could probably advertise it as a family limo.

Technically speaking, Harley Sportsters are standard bikes, too. It all depends on who you ask. Really, its getting to the point where there are too many labels. Just freakin' ride!
