3600 miles. brand new kenda cruiser st tires on 5-2-09 (less than 100 miles on the tires), new front break pads, new air filter, fresh oil change with mobile1 4T full synthetic 10w40 racing oil. probably drove around 300 miles since the oil was change.
i am having major heat sensitivity issues, so far the Dr. cant figure out whats wrong with me but i get over heated and cant stand to be out side for long when it gets hot out. this all started at the end of last summer when i had a heat stroke. they said it some times takes a while to get over. the winter went by and now its getting hot again and i find i am still having this problem, so my bike is up for sale. and i am probably gonna halve to quit my job and move back home to ohio..
asking 2k for it. that's how much i have in to it and i need to pay back the money i borrowed from my 401k. it was not a vehicle loan the title is clear. but i do want to get around 2 thousand for the bike so i can pay back the loan.
i have had the bike for about 2 months, after asking tons of questions on here I'm confident that the bike has no problems
my number is 602-350-9425 i never changed my number from when i was in phoenix az but i am in tennessee. i live right between collierville and cordova in a little tiny town called eads.

there is a scratch on the front fender and a little bit of rust right where the headlight hooks on to the bike looks like a lot of it could be removed easily with a sos pad or something like that. but over all it's in pretty good shape and it runs great. the lady i bought it from decided to have the front forks repacked about a year ago, she gave me a receipt for that, i think i kept it. she said every so many years she gets the forks repacked on her bikes leaking or not. she sold it to me after upgrading to a honda gold wing, plus she had a few other vintage bikes and needed to get rid of one cus she did not have room for all of the bikes.

Aw crap! That sucks.
Gotta take care of yourself first; if you aren't healthy, nothing else much matters.
Keep us posted.

well i had a bunch of test done, looks like those came back ok, now they want me to take a ct scan test and check for brain tumors.
when i was young i used to get anxiety attacks really bad, i finally learned to get rid of them after a long time of thinking i was having a heart attack and dying. eventually i was able to tell my self its jsut anxiety as soon as i started getting a attack and it would almost instantly go away. they stopped eventually. last summer i had that heat stroke and now im always start worrying every time i get kind of hot. and my daily anxiety and stress levels have been way up ever since that happend
i honestly think when i start to get hot i freak out a little and after a while of that it throws me in to a anxiety attack. but last time i aways thought i was having a heat attack. i am no longer scared of that but this is a whole different animal and its gonna take a while to get over.
i went out and got a thermometer to carry with me, i hope next time i get hot like that, if i take my temp and see that my body temperature is normal i wont have a big freak out. i just need to find something to assure me that im not over heated and about to have a heat stroke again. hell it may do the trick, it's worth a shot. but if i see that my temperature is too high than i know i got something to worry about and it's probably not the anxiety but im about 90 precent sure it is. but 90 percent sure is not enough to completely convince my self.
anxiety sucks..

First: Xanax. Just carry some around - you might not ever have to take it. It generally works. Large doses do not mix well with motorcycles or cars.
Second: Start training yourself to stop thinking so much. It's a hard habit to break, but it can be done (just look around!) You are probably a good "thinker" and pride yourself on it, but over-thinking can lead to anxiety and panic attacks.
Three: Check out a book called "Mental Traps." It's short and to the point and I found it very helpful. Amazon has it.
Four: If possible, simplify your life to reduce obligations and situations where you have limited or no control.
It's not unusual for people experiencing panic disorders to have physical symptoms in addition to dread/panic/anxiety.
Good luck. Its hard to explain mental problems to people that have never had them, but they are real and can be just as debilitating as a torn ligament or a bone fracture. Take care.

thanks bud, i will check out that book, xanax is strange, i had some and took it a few times on the weekend just to see what it would do and if it would calm me down. all it really did was make me feel really werid and kind of heavy. it may have calmed me down just a little bit but not much. i really did not see any relaxing effects. i may order some kava kava it is a natural tranquilizer that will calm you down and not impair your motor skills. there is something called valarian root that is kind of simular. im gonna look that up too and decide witch one i want to try. i hate medication, its just a bunch of chemicals mixed together, i like to try and go with the natural alternative medicine rout before i go out and get some kind of drug.. there are plenty of natural things out there, vitamins, herbs, minerals, amino acids and stuff like that and they are known to have the same effects if not a better affect than a lot of the drugs out there.
i have some kind of good news though, it was a really warm night last night at work, almost 80 and the humidity was around 87%. i was having bad anxiety alll the way to work and after a short period of being at work i was not letting my self freak out, for a while i kept starting to but was able to calm my self down, and i ended up having a really good night at work. last 2 or 3 days i have been in a exceptionally good mood for some reason. and that may be helping out. that was just one night but i think i may be able to keep this under control. if i were able to do it last night there is no reason i cant continue to do that.. and if i can i wont halve to sell the bike.
for now it is still for sale. if i sell it some time soon and i end up pulling through the summer heat and get over this crap witch is probably all in my head and don't halve to move back home i can always get another bike after im sure i am fine.

If Xanax didn't calm you down then there was only one thing wrong, you didn't take near enough, because a good dose of Xanax will knock out a good sized grizzly bear.
