I added the muffler and chrome fender trim earlier this year. I also did all of the carburator mods, air filter mod, and installed a 16 tooth sprocket. The throttle response has been MUCH better since these modifications were done. It really feels like a new bike.

Nice looking - never saw a green one before, must be a pretty rare color.
What did you use for the fender/tank trim?

I got it at an Auto Parts Store called ADVANCED AUTO PARTS. I think most big name auto parts places would carry it. It is basically door molding for cars and trucks. It comes in a 10 foot coil (I needed about 16 feet for the front fender, rear fender, tank , side panels, and rear plastic under the licence plate). The stuff is kind of a "U" shaped, chrome plated plastic with adhesive tape already inside. Once you open up the beginning of the coil you just sort of push it on around your fenders. It bends around tight radius's quite easily. If you mess up you can just pull it off and start again. The adhesive is not overly strong so it will not mess up your paint or anything. It took me about 20 minutes to do. The stuff only cost about $5 for a 10 foot coil. I realy like the finished look it gave my bike. My brother-in law is home doing his bike with it even as we speak!

Looking good. You will have ride it harder to discolor the header pipes so it looks used. Right now it looks like it just came out of a shipping crate.

Nice bike. We used to install that trim on Japanese imports and mark it up %1000 percent.

I am one of those crazy guys that really enjoys cleaning my bike (more of a Felix Unger vs. Oscar Madison for all you Odd Couple Fans!). I definitely will keep the good people at Windex and Turtle Wax employeed during this recession!

I'm a fanatic about keeping my ride clean too. I wash my pickup truck once a year whether it needs it or not!
By the way, nice bike!
