Just bought a new 2009 Kawasaki Vulcan 500 LTD. Here is a picture of it next to my GZ 250 (Hank).

VERY NICE! That looks like a comfy bike. After you get some miles on it, you should do a comparison review for us.

Sweet ride. Another bike with a proven reputation. You will really like it.

Must admit, however, that it is kind of like smoking.
I still WANT another bike (cigarette).
Resisting the temptation is sometimes difficult !!
Thats what I plan to get in may. The seat is so comfy.

My plan is the Shadow VTX 750 or the Vulcan 750. But I'm also considering a few sportbikes to replace the Ninja with though.

Today was my first day I actually rode it around the neighborhood. I had to take a break because my right palm of my hand and fingers felt like they were cramping up. I don't know if it was because I was nervous or because the throttle grip is a lot thicker than the GZ 250. I am only 5' 1" and got really small hands.
My second time out seemed better. I am a little bit more relaxed and out on the main roads so I didn't have to do as much shifting. The only downside is that it was very cold out today.

Give yourself some saddle time to get comfy with the bike. BTW, nice bright jacket.

Fossil: Meet the "death grip" cramp! :)
It will get better. A thicker grip is actually better.
