Adds to visibility, detracts from aesthetics. Probably not cool to admit it, but part of the appeal of riding a bike is to be a bit of a rebel. This doesn't exactly scream "I'm a Badass" to me. But people will probably notice you better.
I think you can accomplish some of this without giving up aesthetics with reflective piping, leds and so on. I haven't been hit yet, my tune might change after I get rear ended.
Effective. But not very cool. You should put a smiley face on it.. Tha'd be cool.
Ya know scratch that walmart would sue your ass faster then you can say high visability safety cover.

I like it but then I am a bit of a Safety nut. Start a fad, blind tailgaters and make their eyes bleed. Looks like a relatively simple way to get others attention.

After my wife became permanently disabled due to a driver not seeing us, I have worn Hi Vis on pretty much every ride. My regular motorcycle jacket is Hi Vis, and I have a safety vest to go over my mesh jacket in hot weather. On a motorcycle, cool is staying alive.
