Pa. can be a great place to tour. I used to live in State College back in the late 50's. It was one of my favorite places growing up. The country side has nice rolling hills and mountains (at least they appear this way to this flatland swamp boy). One day I hope to do some touring after we retire and head up north on motorcycles. I'd like to make the covered bridge tour around Pa., camp out, and wake up for a breakfast of scrapple and eggs. Mmmmm - scrapple - brings back memories.
Thats what i plan on doing this summer is visit as many covered bridges as i can and take pictures. The history behind them is facinating to me.

That sounds like a great way to spend the summer. I wouldn't mind a history lesson. I hope we get to see some of the pictures an read about your tour.
Cheers!
All i have is one right now, which is Knechts on my photo album. http://www.dupo24.com/shadow_album
Definetly this summer i will add more and more bridges to that photo album :)
Hey, we've got some of those funky bridges too!

I'm about 50 miles from there. Maybe when I work up the courage to hit 55mph I'll ride over and tour them.
