Here in Atlanta we had an amazing break of warm weather. So a buddy (on his Harley) and me (GZ250) took off for four days to Jekyll Island on the coast of Georgia. It was 81 there (mid-December???) so I worn shorts and a tee shirt (not while riding).
Great ride, rode over to the Okefenokee Swamp, all around Brunswick, and SE Georgia.
I got 63mpg on the interstates and 70mpg on the state highways. My normal easy riding around the country highways of west Georgia yields 75mpg.
My friend on the Harley is a bit timid and I actually ride faster than he does. I can ride 70 on the interstates and 60 on the state highways.
Just thought you would like to know.

Hi, Easy,
Last week my buddy (on a Harley) and I were hoping for a warm break in the December weather. When we saw it we scooted down to Jekyll Island, Georgia on the coast. Spent four days cruising back county highways in SE Georgia along the coast. I am a guide in the Okefenokee Swamp so we went by there to see some old friends: the alligators!
Just as soon as we returned it rained and was 18 degrees! Lucky to have got the ride in. The bike did great.
