I am a new rider (licensed a month ago after taking the MSF course). I have just bought an '04 GZ250 as my first bike. I have had it out a few times and find it great to ride. I am getting into motorcycling a bit late in life-early 60s but better late than never.

I want to get more riding experience and eventually start commuting to work. By spring when it warms up again, I am looking forward to riding in our Colorado Rocky Mountains.

We've had an unusually long and warm fall this year. I hope that will continue a little longer so I can keep riding as much as possible before the snow. Even then, Denver usually has periods of warmer and dryer weather when the snow melts even during the winter, so I plan to ride as often as I can between now and spring.

Glad to have found this site and this forum.

Good for you buddy! I, for one, hope you get lots of snow, and quick. At Vail. And Beaver Creek. Copper Mountain. Breckenridge. And so on.

Welcome to the forum and enjoy riding your suzuki. I really enjoy mine, when I get a chance to ride.
Be really careful out there.

Hey! age is no bar to enjoying yourself. I'm 61. Although I've been riding for over 40 years, each time I get on the bike is as exciting as the first time. The only time that I use the car is if I've got too many passengers for the bike.

They say you should grow old gracefully, well buddy, be like me. I intend to grow old DISGRACEFULLY!

I hope you enjoy your bike for many more years to come.

yo bro.

Snow? What's that? We've got sand that looks like white snow but it's been 35 yrs since I had to shovel that crap outa the driveway.

Welcome, be well, ride safe, and use the gear, just in case. It takes a long time to heal as we get older.

Also I might suggest you visit the tips section at msgroup.org for some very pertinant
info on keepin' yourself safe.
