Even though my wife is 2nd generation HD (her Dad owned a HD dealership in west Texas) it has been mega years since she rode. We jumped tha gun & got her a 05 FLSTNI only to discover that she had forgotten everything about Riding. So, she took the course during the hurricane IKE weekend on a 06 250GZ and liked it so much we went ahead and got her one to cut her teeth on.
She is relearning to Ride and is all smiles. Actually, she is smitten with the GZ, but she know's what she is graduating to when she's ready (tha 05 Softail Deluxe)

Welcome to the site. Please use your "earmuffs" when you see other posts mentioning Harleys.

ACTUALLY you had better be sure that it is HER decision to "graduate".
Not everybody can or should be riding a Harley !! :neener:

Unless they really like walking...then a Harley might just be the bike for them.

Better get those oil-resistant boots, too!

Hell, you need the 120ci engine just to haul around the toolbox and drip pans you have to carry on the back.

Yes, you'd probably need those too. Thanks Alan.
