I'm sure no one cares, but I had to tell someone. I passed 1K miles running some errands today. Over ninety percent of my riding has been to work or running errands, so that's a lot of gas saved since my jeep was averaging 15MPG! I've been away from the forum for a while, so I'm anxious to get caught up. Thanks to everyone who posts here for making it a great site. I also took the MSF course since I've posted. After screwing it up in practice and being a little mad that we didn't get enough practice, I aced the dreaded "box." Couldn't do it again if I tried.

Good for you on the "box". My experience was similar. I guess the dread of having to do the whole thing over again is a powerful force. Glad it kicked in.

Of course we care!! Come on over here and get a hug.
My brother lives just outside St. Louis (near Six Flags). I planned a bike trip down there this year but looks like I won't make it now until next year. Maybe I'll see you then.

If you see GZ in the area, it just might be me. I've never seen another one. I drive the ultra rare, special edition black model. ;)
I live and work a little north of there, but who knows?

Thanks to everyone for the support. I love this bike. It is so forgiving. I've had a few "Oh, s***" moments and the thing just stays upright and keeps going. I'm sad it looks like it will be down to frost temperatures before long. I love those early dawn rides to work. Nothing wakes you up like a cool morning ride.

Congrats and may you enjoy many many more 1000's of miles on your GZ. :2tup:
And yes I agree with you john1096 about the morning ride. When I walk into work I am full of energy, refreshed and wide awake, especially on these frosty mornings. Everyone else seems all drowsy and resigned to being there.
