Hi everyone. There is a two up seat conversion available on E-bay. It looks like a HD Sporster seat adapted to the GZ. I'm personally not interested in a two up, but this ought to be a better option than the shitty stock seat and passenger pillion. It's relatively cheap as well. Someone who wants a two up should go for it and let us all know what the scoop-de-poop is.

That does look good. An enterprising GZ owner. I wonder if a sportster single seat would also work. BTW I have been testing my single seat upgrade and it is working very well. Will attempt to post a how-to tonight.

If I wasn't so heavily invested in some other options, I'd be really tempted.
Note that it is a KIT and needs to be attached to your existing seat pan(s) somehow.
It looks OK to me but might put the rider a little farther forward......which was one of the problems on the last modification I tried.
Thats a pretty slick seat for the GZ.
"uses existing hardware" .. means that it uses your existing mounts/bolts etc. Not that it slips over the existing seat pan. Thats definetly a sportster seat (as sarris mentioned) adapted for the GZ.

It is not that I am interested in a two-up, just interested in a comfy seat, and am willing to part with my solo seat look for comfort sake. I am going to try to get on that this evening(getting the scoop that is).

Apparently nobody here has gone for it yet.
With all due respect to Dupo, I think I still would want to ask exactly what the "bold-on" operation consisted of before commiting $100.
It DOES look good. If it was more comfortable, I think it would be well worth $100. I've got about 3 times that much tied up in various
failed attempts.
Anybody want a seat pan with new cover? CHEAP!! :)

how much for the seat pan with the new cover, Easy Rider. You can PM me if you want
The price he's asking is unmatched. If you are considering buying one of these - go for it. Shouldn't even think twice. You won't find a seat at that price anywhere.
For my small pan style solo seat i have on the shadow i paid 120 + shipping for. For the previous mustang touring seat i had = 300.00 + shipping.
For $100, bolt on and instructions you cannot go wrong. If i had my GZ yet that seat would be bought, paid for and installed already.

My only problem is the dude doesn't show a straight on side view, and it looks to me like you will see a triangle of daylight below the seat. It looks kinda rigged to me. And.... I would want a solo. One more thing, stock Sportster seats suck......roomier than the GeeZer seat, but damn near as uncomfortable.
FYI.
:)
Well you and i both know the stock seats on anything suck balls lol. Still, it looks much better than the GZ seat.
