Problem uploading image

Having trouble uploading a picture, a jpeg, to one of the forums. I get a message in yellow at the top of my post that this is an invalid file name. Is the image too large (1356 x 948, 220 kb), or is something else wrong? Before the site was updated I could upload a 1.4 MB image.

Yes and ones of that size take a LONG time to view. I hope you are able to send the smaller one. It is much preferred......by me, at least.

Well if it says invalid FILE NAME one would assume the file name is incorrect. What extension file is it? What are you using to upload it .... the forum hosted file uploader or the picture attachment PostImage.org mod (the one we've had forever)???

Try to stick with using postimage.org (the link below the textbox when you are typing your messages) for images. Use the file uploader for files.

Dupo - thanks for the help. After you updated the site I had looked for that tiny link to post an image numerous times and never did see it, 'till the last time I looked and found it at the lower left corner under the message box. I was using the "file" upload box to put the image in and that's why it wouldn't work. So thanks again for your help. Admins are just here to serve the dumb newbies. :blush: :bow:
