I'm leaving for Dillsboro, IN tomorrow morning. It is a 150+ miles one way. I will be taking pictures along the way, and once I get there. I won't be on until Wed. night or Thurs. am. I have to be back to take my wife to Methodist Hospital Thursday, she is getting a treatment for her heart transplant. I will try to post pictures and a log of my trip when I can.

Dillsboro is near Cinncinati OH, and Southern Indiana is a beautiful area. Until then I'll see you out there!

Thanks Jer,

Turned 597 miles averaged between 66-70 mpg. Alot of twisties and beautiful scenery. This is one of the gambling boats on the river.

Those are some great pics, RR. I'm looking forward to fall so I can take some time and ride out in the Arkansas hills and get some great curves and pics of my own.

So, how was the seat??

Thanks Patrick I rode with a my brother in law on a V-Star yesterday my bike was able to maneuver on the curves, and was more reponsive than his. When it came to hills and straight aways that was another matter.

Easy the seat worked very well, I had to shift positions occassionally but that is was it. Now between my shoulders was another matter. I don't know if it's my posture, or handle bar positioning or what. But with the seat fixed I made one stop after 150 miles, and my average distance with out stopping was 80 to 90 miles.

I started with posting 3 pictures on a message, and while the third was uploading my browser just stopped working. I felt like I could at least get them on if posted one per message. :2tup:

The bars are adjustable, quite a bit actually. I pullled mine back; more comfortable with my short arms. Still need to re-adjust the shield though.

I am making small improvements with my seat. The last test started out very good; no "seat" pain but a little discomfort in the back and legs.......that I probably just didn't notice with a bigger pain elsewhere. Alas, the last half of the trip (180 miles total), the old butt cramp came back so I'm not quite there yet.

I hear Photobucket has a slideshow feature.

Please don't let my silly REI snapshots be the only use of Patrick's 4 hours of programming. Sooner or later I might run into some of you people and I've got adult children I'm still supporting.

Rusty, it's easy to make a slideshow and, also free: www.photobucket.com (http://www.photobucket.com). You took some nice shots.
