The mirrors look wider than OEM. Was that the reason for change ?

The stock mirrors could definitely stand to be a bit wider or further out. I have a hard time sometimes looking around my arm to see the road behind me, haha.

Nice! What mirrors are those, O Mother of Rosco?

I have that problem on the GZ, but more so on the Ninja. I compensate on the GZ by actually pulling the mirror "into" me a little more and using the outside edge to focus directly behind me. It's not bad, and I only have to pull my elbow a tiny bit to see directly behind. Then Ninja is hopeless though. I'm always having to tuck my arm deep in to see back.

I figured it wouldn't be so bad if my arms weren't so ripped and I wasn't so damned buff. I guess you take the bad with the good though.

I extended my stock mirors. See this post. http://www.gz250bike.com/viewtopic.php?p=2086&highlight=#2086

Cheap & effective. One update since that post is that I bought some chrome tape and wrapped the galvanized extension rod.

First of all....LOL @ Jonathans picture of Patrick. Second...the mirrors are so much better than the stock mirrors! They seem wider and higher. The saddle bags were purchased off ebay and I used Miraurdar brackets. They fit fine on the GZ....

http://www.idlerants.com/graemlins/crackup.gif It really doesn't take much to get me into fur hotpants and a blonde wig. Where was Man-at-Arms when I needed him!?
