First 1000 miles.

Well I bought my '03 GZ from a coworker who moved up to a C50. I bought it for gas milage and I figured I would end up hating it and putting it back up for sale. But getting it for a grand with only 6000miles on was a steal. Well was I ever wrong , I love it. So as of the other day I have had my permit for 3weeks and I have logged over 1000 miles on the bike. Did I mention that I live 6 miles from work? 18 days of work x 12miles= 216miles. I wonder where all these miles are coming from and why I can't seem to find any free time.

Welcome Brother. You really must have an iron butt, as I've been riding for about 35 years and I'm only good for about 100 miles on the Geezer. Then I have to have a 15 minute break to get the blood to flow in the old glutes again!

I hope you stick with it because motorcycling can be a lifelong love affair.

OK, 1,000 - 216 = 784 mystery miles - I wouldn't know where they are from :??:
Do you keep your GZ 250 outside ? Maybe one of your neighbors' kids came by with a drill, and played with your odometer cable - other wise, I have no explanation...
