A member over on the Ninja forum linked this and I figured I'd post it here for anyone who may be interested in watching Tropical storm/Hurricane Fay as it hits Florida:

As of 7:00 pm EST (time of this posting) the camera is still functioning and video is streaming. I've watched it off and on for a few hours this afternoon and there are still quite a few motorcycles and scooters out on the road  By watching the little tree on the side of the street, it's looking like the wind is starting to increase a little bit.

Yes, we're watching. I'm in Melbourne by Cape Canaveral on the East Coast, Sarris is on the west coast. Looks like it's going right up the middle. Schools closed tomorrow, but geez, it's only a frickin' tropical storm, I've been through worse. In either case, we're keeping an eye on it.
I was here for Hurricane Erin in 1995, as well as Frances and Jean in 2004 (that was ugly, as far as flooding goes, no major structural damage), but you never know what it's gonna do...Don't have to worry about riding, as she's in the dealer for new tires (dang, I hope this doesn't delay delivery of my new tires!!, is that selfish ??)
Everyone in Florida take care !! Thanks to those who are looking out for us !!

We've been watching this for days, maybe having to prepare for a hit here (in Shell Point, Fl., 40 miles south of Tallahassee), but the storm will be tracking east of us going diagonally over central Florida. When Dennis landed in Pensacola 200 miles to our west in July 2005, the 12' storm surge destroyed my ground level house and 14 others on my street, so I am aware of keeping an eye out for storms.
For those who are on a need-to-know basis, or for others who just may be interested, go to emergencyemail.org and register for the site. You can get periodic updates on all kinds of important things, like storm updates (comes every few hours), health warnings (ie., human foods, dog food), missing persons, terror threats, etc., sent to your email, or cell phone. These are really very helpful, no spam, and the best thing is, IT'S FREE!
