View Full Version : Political Poll Question

This is an expansion of a conversation in another post which questioned if small displacement riders tended to be more left leaning or right leaning.

There is no reason to try and defend yourself or explain your position. As a matter of fact, it's probably better that we don't even post our answers or get into conversations about this.

Just answer the poll question and you can be on your way.

Thank you,

primal

What about moderate?

What about moderate?

That term is pretty much meaningless. For purposes of this poll, I would think the equivalent would be "independent".......although, if they were honest, I think most "moderates" and "independents" would admit to "leaning" one way or the other.

Maybe 'lilNinja can pose the same question over on the Ninja forum and some of you who are friends of the Rebels and can do the same. Then we would have a good sample.

Nope, I don't plan on getting lynched over there........political posts are NOT something I would volunteer to submit on that particular forum :neener:

Which label would you apply?

I'm no expert but I think that combination sounds kinda like Libertarian.

Of course, you could be ______ (fill in the blank) and lying about half of the items !!

I often find myself kind of in no man's land.

I hear they don't let people like you vote there.

Libertarian is what I would label you as, too. But labels don't mean much these days. Both parties say one thing and do another.

Suppose one was:

FOR small government (really!)
FOR lower taxes
PRO business
NOT CRAZY about unions (unless everyone is in one)
AGAINST National Health Insurance (and maybe the idea of health insurance in general)
AGAINST drug laws
FOR abortion rights
PRO Guns and gun ownership
AGAINST all forms of religion in politics or government
AGAINST the Iraq war
AGAINST torture
AGAINST wire tapping
AGAINST seat belt and helmet laws
AGAINST illegal immigration
OWNS a Chevy Suburban
DID NOT VOTE for John Kerry or Al Gore
DID NOT VOTE for (either) George Bush
IS NOT registered as a Democrat
THINKS COPS, THE (Volunteer) MILITARY and FIREMEN are no better or worse than anyone else.
THINKS AMERICA is great, but not perfect, and often wrong.

Which label would you apply?

I believe that was one of the "rules"

"There is no reason to try and defend yourself or explain your position. As a matter of fact, it's probably better that we don't even post our answers or get into conversations about this."

You can have one more shot.

Only one though

...and be careful not to aim too far to the right or left.
