Hi everyone,

Well, I recently took my MSF course and got my license. I'd been thinking about it for a couple of years, so the time finally just seemed right to do it. About a week later I went shopping for a bike and the GZ250 seemed like the perfect think to practice on, get me back and forth to my car-pool pickup, and around town for errands. After hunting around for resources on this bike, I found this forum and am really glad that I have.

I'm going to see how much of the year I can ride, it feels cramped and boring in my car now. I just wanted to say hello.

You did it the right way -
1) get licensed
2) get a bike.
The lady I got mine from, got the bike and gear first, and then at the MSF course, during the exam she fell and broke an ankle. She didn't dare to try again, poor girl...
The bike was sitting under a cover for two years with 35 miles on it, I got it four days before the registation needed to be renewed.

Oh, Re: "I'm going to see how much of the year I can ride" in N VA that's most of the time, it just depends how far you want to take it in the rain, frost, and heat.
