Haven't gotten to taking my own picture on my GZ, but I've decided to add my son as my avatar ("Little Richard"). I'll be uploading my bike and me very soon, depending on number of beers consumed, LOL.

Question....am I supposed to name my bike, like you do boats and cars ?? LOL

I'm leaning towards "Dorothy", as in the Wizard of Oz, as she is ruby red like Dorothy's slippers. That doesn't make me gay, right ? LMAO....My son loves that movie....

I also have a "Candy" in the garage, but she will be revealed later....stay tuned....

Oh c'mon, that should be Kandi......not Candy, makes it more of a stripper name  .....sorry, watching the 3rd season of Two and a half Men on DVD.

As for the Dorothy thing, hey, I helped put on a production of The Wizard of Oz in high school (one of my favorites for live action plays, along with Androcles and the Lion), and I'm doing fine

Ha....Actually it's "Candie", along the same lines as "Eleanor" in "Gone In 60 Seconds"...both are old Mustangs.

I guess Sarris has a definitive opinion on it...wow.....LOL

The S.U.V I got rid of a few months ago was affectionately called "The Beast". Because of its "Beastly" need for gasoline. And also cause the damn thing wouldn't die, Well I take that back, I guess Gas prices finally killed it.

I am more prone to name the bike after it breaks down fifty miles from the house ... and that name is best not mentioned in the forum ..

My bike has been dubbed the GeeZer Glide by a friend who rides a Harley. Perhaps it's because of my silver hair! I like that name so I may have decals made for the side covers.

I'm thinking of naming mine Baby Firefly (I'm a huge Rob Zombie Fan).
I'll have to see how she likes her name after a few drives.

The Canadian addition GZ is a Marauder 250 so Lynda named her Maudie. My bike is just my bike.

... I work with guys that name their computers, usually with some mythology or sci-fi theme.

Call me soul-less, but I draw the line at pets. I don't have a name for my toaster, my table saw or my cell phone and, although the GZ is way more fun to play with, it's just a more sophisticated toy. It'll be "the Suzuki" until I get a second one.

Now excuse me, I have to make sure Odin, Zeus and Thor are all backed up and have finished their nightly processing runs. Coming, boys!

Depending on who you ask table saws can be much more fun than Zook.

I know the feeling Alan. I got Network Admins who do the same. I have to access servers called "Labyrinth", "Seattle", and "DeathStar" to name a few !! Why don't you name her "Suzi" ??? LOL

I have 2 computers at work. I named one of them Dexter from the cartoon Dexter's Lab and the other on simply THE MAN. This was when someone accesses the network they get the point.

Naming computers is actually necessary and serves a purpose other than just personifying them. It's pretty useless in vehicles though, IMO.

Some guys name their junk too, but I just use mine for thinking...
