help in removing footpegs

hello everyone,
i have a question. i need to remove the foot pegs because i brought new ones. i was looking under the bike and saw the pins in the pegs. so i hit the underside of the pin and the pin won't move. so guys can you please tell me how to remove the foot pegs. thank you rica

There's an expansion ring on the bottom around the pin that you have to remove with a pair of pliers first. #9 in this fiche photo.
