What you guys think about pulling a small trailer behind a GZ? Such as this setup:

I plan on making trips to the store and other places (trying to save some gas) and a setup such as this would be a great help.

Can the GZ handle it? As long as its not packed too heavy, of course. But what are your thoughts?

I'm still a GZ noob, but I don't see why it couldn't, as long as a good way to mount the hitch can be worked out. I think having a trailer would be cool.

You want opinions, okay here is mine. Don't do it. As handy as the trailer might be and great for lots of stuff I really think it is a bad idea. Riding a bike is already dangerous enough without adding to the danger. Pulling a trailer with a cage increases the odds of an accident by seven fold(I read that somewhere). Pulling with a bike would be far greater odds. Yes I know, you see touring bikes with trailers all the time and they look cool and handy. They are also far larger bikes.
My biggest concern would be manuvering and braking ability of the GZ. I think you would far better off with a trunk and/or saddle bags.

DOH! I wasn't thinking about that. Think I'll let this idea drop while I'm ahead and work on getting some ammo cans mounted.

Well it aint so much the hauling as it is the stopping...

Sure would be nice to take a big cruiser around the country with one of those pop-up tent trailers, though. Maybe some day...
